The FM 1485 Project is a highway improvement and widening project being built by TxDOT or the Texas Department of Transportation in Montgomery County, Texas. I'm David Todd. The FM 1485 Project has the following goals. They're going to widen 1485 from a two-lane undivided roadway to a four-lane divided roadway from State Highway 242 to Kidd Cemetery Road. They're going to raise the median of 242 to Caney Drive. They're going to create a continuous turn lane from Caney Drive to Kidd Cemetery Road and a 10-foot wide path on either side of the road for pedestrians and cyclists.
